At Bottoms Up Coffee Co., a small startup coffee tuk tuk in Cape Town owned by a husband and wife team, we’re passionate about more than just coffee. We love sharing our carefully crafted brews with our friends—both old and new—and the broader community, using every opportunity to connect with our customers. For us, coffee is more than a drink; it’s an experience and a way to share our love for coffee and people.

One of the founding members of Bottoms Up Coffee Co., he dreamed of opening a coffee shop. When the pandemic hit four years ago, that dream evolved into something new—a coffee tuk tuk. His goal is to build a coffee brand where customers can taste the passion, feel the happiness, and enjoy relaxed conversations with a cup in hand.
Behind every great business is a strong woman. Meet Shafeeqah, one of the founding members of Bottoms Up Coffee Co. Strong-willed, determined, and a natural businessperson, Shafeeqah is the driving force behind the scenes. She handles new business, client services, and social media, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Although she’s a bit shy and prefers to stay out of the spotlight, she’s still the one who calls the "shots"—and Nashid pulls the "shots" (see what we did there?). As a customer-facing business, she occasionally steps in to assist the operations team and has recently taken on the additional responsibility of managing the team onsite.
Our mobile coffee shop is a charming and innovative venture that brings the joy of freshly brewed coffee right to your doorstep. With its stylish design and warm, welcoming ambiance, it creates a delightful space for coffee enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite brews. From classic flat whites to cozy spicy chai lattes, our baristas craft each cup with passion and precision, ensuring an unforgettable coffee experience. Whether parked at local events, bustling kids parties, or corporate offices, our mobile coffee tuk tuk fosters a sense of community, connecting people over their love for the perfect cup of coffee.
